J. Larner

James
Larner is President of SGMI
and is responsible for start-up operations and management.
Jim has a wealth of experience in the maintenance and construction
of new golf courses.
|
He has over twenty-nine years of experience in the golf course
industry, involved with some of the finest golf courses in
Florida.
From
1990 to 1995, Jim supervised the construction, grow-in, and
maintenance of Lely Resort Golf & Country Club. Lely is a
54-hole project in Naples, Florida. Jim was responsible for
the construction, grow-in, and maintenance of Black Diamond
Golf & Country Club, the #1 rated course in Florida and ranked
as the Best New Private Course in the Country by Golf Course
Digest Magazine in 1988.
Prior to 1987, Jim was involved in the construction and grow-in
of The Lakes Course at Palm Aire, Sarasota, and served as
Head and Assistant Superintendent for ten years.
Jim
has served as President of the Suncoast Golf Course Superintendents
Association for two terms, 1985-1987, and he served as Secretary
Treasurer 1984-1985. Jim currently holds a Class "A" Status
with the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America,
Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association, Florida Turfgrass
Association, and Everglades Golf Course Superintendents Association.
Jim's
specialized training has been in all aspects of golf course
management, with emphasis on construction, grow-in, maintenance,
owner, member & guest satisfaction. He resides on Marco Island,
Florida with his wife Terri, and their two children.

Terrill
LaGree is Vice President of SGMI,
responsible for the daily operation of administration, design
and construction resources.

Terrill
has over twenty-one years of senior executive experience in
golf operation, construction, management, marketing, and sales.
In
1985, Terrill assumed duties for the planning and construction
of Black Diamond Ranch, the #1 rated course in the State of
Florida; also voted the #1 New Private Golf Course in America
by Golf Digest Magazine in 1988. Terrill served as Vice President
and General Manager of Black Diamond for over eight years.
In
1979, Terrill moved to Florida and assumed the duties as Director
of Planning for the FPA Corporation in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Florida Palm-Aire developed high-end residential country club
communities in Pompano Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and
Sarasota, Florida.
Terrill
is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with
a degree in Landscape Architecture and is a registered Landscape
Architect in the State of Florida. He and his wife, Helen,
have been married for twenty-six years and reside at Black
Diamond in Lecanto, Florida.

James
Carman serves as Secretary, Treasurer and the Chief Financial
Officer of SGMI.
Jim
has a total of twenty-two years experience in Real Estate
Development, Golf Course Management and the related areas
of financial responsibility.

Currently
Jim is working as a Financial Advisor exclusively for SGMI.
Working
with SGMI on a daily basis,
Jim brings with him the financial expertise, as well as the
years of golf course management experience necessary to advise
both SGMI and our clients.
In
1988 Jim joined Black Diamond Ranch as the Corporate Comptroller.
Since that affiliation his duties have included all aspects
of financial responsibility for numerous restaurants, a marina,
cable television operations and a myriad of homeowner associations.
Jim has served as Vice President and General Manager for Black
Diamond Ranch and it's affiliated companies since 1996.
Jim
attended both Texas A&M University and Marshall University
and holds a Bachelors Of Business Administration Degree in
accounting. He resides at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto,
Florida with his wife Brenda, daughter Erin and son Will.
